Bowdle Hospital
Acute Care
Our 12 bed critical access hospital allows our providers and staff to render comprehensive inpatient care for patients. Bowdle Hospital is equipped with 4 negative pressure beds and constant cardiac monitoring capabilities. We provide general inpatient medical and post surgical care, as well as a large volume of out patient services such as, blood transfusion, IV therapy and Port/Picc care. All of the RN staff are ACLS / TNCC accredited.
Skilled Swing Bed
Many patients choose to complete their recovery period, rather from surgery or illness, in our certified swing bed unit. Our on site physical therapist, highly trained nursing staff and consulting dietitian provide exceptional recovery care while allowing you to be close to home.
The goal of the nursing staff is to provide exceptional patient care, close to home, near family and friends.
Emergency Room
BHC's Emergency Department has a physician available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week From cuts, bruises and broken bones to trauma and cardiac emergences Bowdle Healthcare Center's ER is equipped and ready to provide life saving treatments at any time, day or night. All of the Emergency Room RN staff are ACLS / TNCC accredited.
Bowdle Radiology Department
The recently remodeled radiology department has a variety of services including Bone Density Screenings, PAD net vascular screenings and digitally scanned x-rays. In addition to our on site equipment we also offer Digital Mammography, Ultra Sound, Cardiac Echo and Cat Scans through mobile units.
Bowdle Laboratory
BHC's full-service medical laboratory operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
